The repair shop called us last night to tell us that they could fit work on the truck in after all. They are open until midnight so they finished the truck last night. This morning, after assuming the appropriate position in front of the cashier’s office, we hit the road again. The Bearded One seems to be running out of steam on this driving thing so we stopped after 3 hours on the road. We are about 60 miles west of St. Louis in a rural KOA. It is quiet and pleasant here though. Temperatures in the low 70s with a slight breeze.
We hopefully have collected all the souvenirs we will purchase for this trip. Who could need more than a matching set of Texas tires and a beautiful set of discs and rotors from Missouri? At least we have picked out practical souvenirs…as my daughter said, “No refrigerator magnets for us!”
Hey, but look, there are trees and grass here! I LOVE GREEN!!!!!
