June in the Flower Gardens

A Double Daylily

We have returned from a few days of camping.  It is nice to be home.

Today I spent some time weeding part of the vegetable garden but took time to enjoy the flower gardens too.

Hosta border

Smoke Bush

Asiatic Lilies

Sweetspire(?)...nice but is becoming invasive

Last year's kale(foreground) going to seed (kinda nifty looking and I want the seed) , coreopsis and ornamental grass.

Water Lily

So nice to walk about the yard enjoying June.

We had Deviled Crab and a garden salad for dinner.  Nice.  We had a treat, at least I thought it was a treat, for breakfast.  An Orange Julius made in the Vitamix.  Whole (peeled) oranges, milk, agave syrup, vanilla, ice cubes…whizz…delicious.
