Moving through life at the speed limit

Is this a sign of hope? or just an anomaly?  Whatever.  I will take it as a move in the positive direction.  We ran errands today and The Bearded One traveled at or above the speed limit.  Woohoo.  Still early and miles to go before we sleep but it feels good.

We have had some good  vegetarian recipes in the past two days.  Yesterday we had Vegetarian Baked Chimichangas. They were REALLY good.   Black beans are becoming one of my favorite foods.

Sorry, crummy picture but good dinner. I didn't stop to take a picture until we had eaten all but this poor little specimen.

Tonight we had 4 Minute Spicy Shrimp (from Rachel Ray), steamed asparagus and Quinoa and Black Bean Salad…YUMMMM!

Quinoa and Black Bean Salad

We had a productive day.  We reinvested some IRA money (crappy CD rates these days!), arranged for the trailer to be repaired (damage done by the blown tire at Truth or Consequences, NM), and arranged for three trees around the house to be trimmed back to prevent further damage from squads of terrorist squirrels.
