The Boys are Here and Allie’s Life Changes

My grandsons (along with their Mom and Dad) have come for a visit.  Dad has to go back home to work, but Kate and the boys will be spending a couple of weeks with us, as will their dog.

Allie Cat is not sure what to think about this.  Where has all her attention gone?  What is that loud barky animal?  Who are those short humans and how should she deal with them.

At this point she is choosing to remain back in our bedroom or sneak up the spiral staircase where she can safely observe the happenings below.

What the heck is happening down there?

But then she was discovered…

Evan has taken his keyboard upstairs to play her a song (seated just below her) and Sadie, the dog) can only make it halfway up the stairs.

The barking has mostly stopped one day into the visit and Allie will stay in the room with the boys as long as she is not approached to closely.  They keep calling her Ellen though.

The boys spent part of the day by our small goldfish pond.  They floated toy boats and “fished”.
