British Car Day

The Bearded One noted as he read the newspaper Thursday morning that the yearly event “British Car Day” was to be held Saturday.  The last time we had attended was probably 20 years ago when we owned (he proudly owned) an older Triumph Spitfire.  Not in polished condition like the ones at the show…but driveable.

ANYWAY, he wanted to go to this car show this year and we did.

About 300 British Cars

The Bearded One admired many of the cars and had a few stories to tell of his days driving the Spitfire.

I thought this one was particularly cute.

It was a beautiful Saturday, temperatures in the low 80’s (a blessing after the heat of this summer which is to return today).  He walked farther for this event than he has in months!

Today we are packing up for a short camping trip.  We have a site right on Indian Lake so it should be beautiful!  Hot, but beautiful.  Yea for trailers with air conditioning!  I will let you see some photos when we return shortly.
