A Day of Running Errands

Some days just get used up with errands.  That was the case today, but pleasantly so.

About once a year I get 30% off everything at Kohl’s.  I generally make it a point to make a pass through the store to stock up on a few necessities and see if there is anything that I can’t live without.  Today, I stocked up on Food Saver rolls, Sonicare heads, and got a few basic clothing items.  I looked through the kitchen section but nothing tempted me…I basically have everything that is needed (and a bit more).

It was lunchtime and the Red Lobster commercials have been tempting The Bearded One for some time so we had lunch there.  It was a relaxing and enjoyable lunch.

Then to the grocery.  And finally, to the library.  Then home.

Since we had such a large lunch, we ate lightly for dinner.  I made Roasted Vegetable Wraps using some of the leftover roasted vegetables and adding some additional onions, poblano pepper and mushrooms.  We put the filling and some swiss cheese shreds on flour tortillas.  Yum!
