Still Harvesting!

It is the middle of November and the weather this week has been incredible!  We have had three or four days of 70 degree weather!  Woohoo!  But the weather is to return to normal in the next two days so today The Bearded One and I spent time in the gardens pulling out plants that had been harmed by the frost last week and harvesting other crops.  We harvested more broccoli, all the brussel sprouts, and carrots.

Swiss Chard and Swiss Chard are still growing!

It has been a good year for the garden.

The Bearded One planted a few more crowns of asparagus today to fill in the rows of asparagus we have.  They have been growing for almost twenty years so need to be replaced at times.

We had Jamaican Style Black Bean and Coconut Corn Bread Bake for dinner. Great again!

Then I played the Kinect.  It is fun.  No need for a controller.  Your body is the controller.  It can tell where you arms and legs are pretty much all the time, unless there is glare from the sun.  I play the Adventure game that came with it…

or Dance Central which would be troubling to you if you could see me attempting the dances…but good exercise for me!

Both games are fun and really get the heart rate pumping!  Just what I want.
