Crab Cakes On The Beach

It is getting warmer here on the panhandle.  It will be in the 60s, maybe even hit 70, for the next week.  Nice.

We bought a pound of lump crab meat at the fish market today.  Pricey, but it is our last week here so live it up!

Tonight, we used half of it to make crab cakes (a recipe from Food and Wine Magazine).  Very good.  We also had homemade onion rings and tempura zucchini.  A great meal.

The cats had a good day.  Nothing new for Allie, she feels entitled to having a good day.  She helped The Bearded One read the newspaper…

Allie also feels entitled to My Chair (of course, she thinks it is Her Chair).  When I get up, she quickly fills the chair.  Today the Veege joined her.

Sigh.  I am sitting on the sofa with The Bearded One so I do not disturb them.
