Another Step Closer to Home

We head to Walton, KY today…just South of Cincinnati.  We will be almost home…close enough to be tempted to push through all the way but we know that when we get home there will be lots of chores to open the house, empty the trailer and prepare the trailer for frigid temperatures.  We do not want to get home exhausted and be faced with all of that.

It is supposed to snow 2-4 inches in Tennessee and Kentucky this evening.  Theoretically, we will be north of that system when we stop.  I hope so.  The temperatures overnight will be challenging enough as it is!

The cats are now very comfortable with travel.  Of course, Allie is comfortable anywhere at any time.  She knows she is in charge.  But VeeGee is beginning to spend travel time under my chair instead of behind the couch and she comes out to be petted soon after we stop for the night.

If anything, I need to guard my chair now!

The campground tonight is supposed to be pretty basic, I hear the strains of the bango music from Deliverance playing in my head, so I am not betting on internet service.

Talk to you tomorrow from home!
