Emergencies

That is the thing with emergencies…you never know they are coming then WHAM!

I talked to my daughter from our hotel room this morning as The Bearded One was just arising to get ready for a day of Grandsons.  We talked of groceries and meals and little boys.

By the time we arrived 90 minutes later, it was emergency mode.  The doctor wanted her to be seen at the Emergency Room.

I volunteered to take care of the boys since we all know that Emergency Room takes HOURS and little boys need something in moments.  The Bearded One drove my daughter to the Emergency Room.

Hours later, my daughter is spending the night in the hospital, doing well.  The Grandsons are with their Dad.  The Bearded One and I just finished a fashionably late dinner in our hotel room.

I must say though that the Boys said several times today that they were having a wonderful time.  They frequently asked about Mom but it is good that today was not too scary for them.  I also worried about my daughter but enjoyed every moment with the sweetest, smartest, cutest boys in the world.

I look forward to tomorrow with Daughter, Son-in-Law, Grandsons and the Bearded One…home and together.
