Moving Up to Family Fun

The crisis portion of the program seems to be over.  My elder daughter is learning to cope with the aftermath of the health crisis and prepare for the healing phase.  The family is developing coping strategies too…like an wheeled office chair to give Mom mobility to keep her functioning for longer periods…Vicodin…and family games.

Daddy brought home Operation and Connect Four.  The boys were enthralled for hours.  Some creative adaptations of the games were observed…nothing that is printed on the game cover!  But, they enjoyed their play and the creativity and having Mommy and Daddy there, as should be.

We spent the day preparing freezer meals to provide a buffer for tougher days.  I enjoy little more than cooking with my daughters so it was a joy for me…with breaks to play with the boys…what could be better?

Back to the hotel room for dinner.  Kimchi Stew…nice. (Okay, I know it does not tempt you but it is tasty!)
