Life Class

I have watched a couple of episodes of Oprah’s Life Class on her network.  Oprah is still Oprah.  I hope she can make something of her network.  Looks like a mighty effort though.

Tonight, she is talking about the purpose of your life and believing in that purpose.

I know, without doubt, that my purpose is to care for others.  Sometimes I wish my purpose were something else…seldom, but sometimes.  I taught, I supervised others (mentoring them), I mothered, I cared for loved ones who were ailing and continue to do so.

I know that I am a better caretaker than I might be one who needs care.  Sigh.

I also know that I am a creator.  I love to arrange, make, create, cook, paint, think.  Good things all.

The good thing is, I know I have a purpose.  Feels good.

  2. Amanda says:

You almost made me cry at work. You truly are an amazing caretaker, but remember that if you ever need caring for– Kate and I are a phone call away.

    Love you.
