Da Bayoo

We passed through Louisiana from Baton Rouge to Sulfur today.  It was all that I had expected from the Bayou.

We traveled over the longest bridge either of us remember.  Over 18 miles long!

It went over swamps and rivers and lakes.  I am sure it went over gators and snakes.  Just as I had imagined Louisiana bayou.

Tonight, we are at A+ Motel and RV Park…sounds sad doesn’t it?  But it is clean and very friendly.  All the amenities.  We have a fishing pond outside the back door where Allie roamed on her leash for several hours.  Now that it is dark, we can see a lighted fountain in the middle of the pond.

All in all.  Nice.
