Sunny Day

It was another sunny day in Ohio.  Almost 80 degrees on the 1st day of April!  Still trying to enjoy each lovely day.

I started the day working in the Tower Room installing the metal trim around the stairwell.

and reassembling the shelving unit…

Then, I sanded the old baseboard and cut the quarter round for around the hot tub.  Now, this is an involved project for an amateur like me.  The hot tub is round with the base a series of flat surfaces.

It turns out the cuts need to be about 12.5 degrees each.  Thank goodness for an electric miter saw!  Although each length needed to be adjusted, the pieces came together.

The pieces need to be stained and glued.  They cannot be nailed to the floor since it is floating.

Tomorrow, buy the stain and stain the baseboard and quarter round.

Getting there!
