Auction!

Okay, we are planning on downsizing significantly in the next couple of years.  I need to pare down what we have and it is somewhat mind boggling to even consider going through all this STUFF.  I plan on just starting with clothing.  I am no clothes horse so it is a manageable goal AND the items can be donated not sorted out for gifts/sale/donation and then finding a place to put them until that time arises.  Ick.  Maybe we should just stay put and make this sorting process our daughters’ problem…just kidding girls!

BUT….

There is an auction just outside of town tomorrow.

AND…

There are 1 gallon crocks for sale.  I use these for a number of uses.  They make great utensil holders on the counter and one of mine cracked and broke with long use.

SO…

I need a one gallon crock.  Actually, my eldest daughter could use one too to hold her utensils.  And maybe, my younger Boston daughter could use one too.

AND

I have memories of attending auctions with my Mom and with my younger sister.  Just for fun.  Sometimes buying.  Sometimes watching what things are selling for and commenting.  “We threw away one nicer than that!”  “Remember when we had one of those!” etc.

Heck.  I think I will go.  It is supposed to be hot and humid.  I may not stay until the crocks sell.  But I will spend some times with my memories non the less.

Need anything?
