Life in a Truck Camper

I know I have not talked to you for weeks.  We have returned to New Jersey to help our daughter and her family through the remainder of a challenging pregnancy.  Yesterday was the 36 week landmark.  The doctor is now saying that the baby can safely be born at any time she decides to arrive now so we are breathing easy now but hope she takes her time and stays put in her Mom for a bit longer.

Anyway, we are basing our stay out of our truck camper parked in her driveway.  We find that it allows us to be able to help on a moment’s notice and for me to be inside giving support while bed rest was enforced while my husband “hung out” in the camper.  We had our nest with us.  All of the stuff that makes us feel at home.  AND it allows our daughter’s family to have some private time.  They have had in-laws underfoot for more than 4 of the past 6 months and it has to get old no matter how much we love each other!

We have lived in this truck camper for many more months than we have lived in our house this year.  We have made improvements in the camper to add to our comfort that I will detail in the next post.
