Getting Older is a Lot of Work

We are preparing for another trip away from home so getting our ducks in order.  So much of that these days means taking care of medical things…getting prescriptions refilled and now, getting vaccinations.  First, flu and pneumonia.  Today, Shingles.

Who, the heck, had ever heard of Shingles a few years ago.  But, I have had two friends who have had the torture of experiencing Shingles and I will pass.  So, today The Bearded One and I got the vaccine.  No biggie once we had the prescription from the doctor.  Just got it at a local pharmacy (though not all do it).

I think we are now caught up.  We even had the Whooping Cough vaccine since we have a new Granddaughter who would be highly susceptible.  We are as clean as it gets!

Now, for the dentist, the podiatrist and  the optometrist.  Sheesh.
